Penthouse apartment Cala Montgó

Exclusive and luxurious Cala Montgo apartment in l’Escala on the top floor with a large terrace. It is located on Montgó beach in l’Escala. It accommodates 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a toilet and shower. The other two share a bathroom with a toilet and shower. There is also a separate guest toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped. The car can be parked in the private garage.

Apartment Cala Montgo l’Escala is located on the top floor of the building, but there is an elevator to reach the 2nd floor. From the terrace, there is a beautiful view of Platja Montgó beach.

By car, you enter directly into the garage on the 2nd floor. Once inside, the bright and spacious interior immediately catches the eye. There is an open kitchen that is fully equipped. The flat-screen TV has satellite reception. The spacious terrace faces completely south. Enjoy the sun, dining together, and watching the beach and the sea. Next to the living room is a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Both the living room and the bedroom are equipped with air conditioning. A staircase leads to the floor below. Here are the two other bedrooms. They share a spacious bathroom. Additionally, there is a separate toilet under the stairs. Furthermore, you may park your car in the garage. This can be reached via an entrance at the rear of the apartment building.

The Surroundings
The residence is located 5 meters from Montgó beach. Cala Montgó is one of the most beautiful coves in l’Escala. There is a large sandy beach here with wonderfully cool seawater. Along the left side of the cove are rocks situated by the sea.

Those seeking a bit more peace and quiet can enjoy sunbathing and swimming here. There are many restaurants and bars around Montgó. Our favorite is Can Miquel. They have a swimming pool with a lounge bar where you can relax. On the beach, there is a Xiringuito (beach bar) where you can enjoy a refreshing drink and a snack. Located next to the old village of l’Escala are the famous Empúries archaeological excavations. These are well worth a visit. If you would like to go horseback riding, that is also possible; there is a riding school at the entrance to the village boundary.

Culturally, there is also plenty to do, such as Figueres with its Museo de Dalí or Girona with its beautiful cathedral, or, of course, Barcelona with Gaudí a little further afield.

From a sporting perspective, there are many possibilities. Water sports on the sea include canoeing, jet skiing, diving, or snorkeling. Furthermore, there are cycle paths leading to the beach of Sant Pere Pescador, where you can kite surf, wind surf, or simply enjoy the sun.
